Eat Chocolate Guilt Free With Proceeds Going To Women’s Scholarships
Some great news! Tomorrow you can eat chocolate guilt-free as 50% of the sale of Mon Paris Patisserie’s special chocolates are being donated to Les Dames d’Escoffier’s scholarship program for women in culinary, wine and hospitality . The shop is in Burnaby at 4396 Beresford Street, near Metrotown.
Public relations whiz, Dame Katharine Manson, helped organize this fundraiser for International Women’s Day, another great example of how Les Dame d’Escoffier’s members work in the community to raise the profile of women in culinary, wine and hospitality! Chocolatier Elena Krasnova of Mon Paris Patisserie will highlight her chocolate shoe and purse creations for International Women’s Day and is donating 50% of March 8 sales of these items to Les Dames d’Escoffier. Elena will be on Global in the morning on March 8 to do a truffle segment and will promote the fundraiser and speak about Les Dames, so tune in and then go buy these chocolates!
Chocolate Shoe, $21: milk chocolate with three signature truffles; two mango passion fruit and one tiramisu.
Chocolate Purse, $45: milk chocolate filled with seven different signature bon bons.
