JOE FORTES TO THE RESCUE

Phew, that was close. When Tourism Vancouver pushed its annual Dine Out Vancouver to April because of the Olympics, we moved fast to come up with our own version to keep your taste budgets smiling through January, the month that never ends.

We call it Dine Out Joe Fortes. OK, so the name’s not terribly original. But who cares when you can get a three-course dinner for just $34.95? Starting January 7th through January 24th, our Dine Out Joe Fortes menu is available all night from 4 p.m. to close.

SMART BUYS FROM OUR CELLAR

Our Annual Bin End Sale lets you drink like a prince at a pauper’s prices. The catch? You’ve got to come down to the cellar (no spiders, we promise) and brave the dark, and the piercing cries (of delight) when a buyer finds bargains like these:

2010 OLYMPIC GAMES

We’ve began the countdown. 37 Days to go! Here are a few updates to note during that busy time.

Starting Feb 12th, our hours are 10AM to 1AM, 2AM Fri/Sat with late night dining every night. Our roof garden bar will be open until 1AM every night during the 2010 Olympic Games and it will be fully tented and heated with large screen TV’s. A great place to watch all the games!

There are various parking restrictions already in effect for us downtowners, but worry not – our valet service is still available until Feb 4th. As of Feb 4th through 28th, however, valet parking will not be available as there is no stopping on the street. Click here for more info on getting around during the 2010 Olympic Games.

Joe Fortes turns 25 this year! 2010 marks our 25th year as your neighborhood restaurant and we are looking forward to a full year of celebrations. Let the games begin!
