Cordova Street’s Nicli Antica Pizzeria will soon open Next Door, conveniently right next door to the pizzeria. Opening is expected by end of June.
Chef Dave Tozer’s menu will feature Italian-inspired snacks known as ‘cicchetti’. They’ll be hand-crafted cocktails and an Italian-focused wine list. Dishes such as braised pork belly with a white bean cassoulet, arancini, chorizo and mussels in white wine, bruschetta or mini fried pizzette can be expected.
“Next Door is making the wait for Neapolitan pizza at Nicli that much more enjoyable. We want Next Door to become part of the Nicli experience -you can start with a drink and an appy at Next Door, then go next door to Nicli for pizza” said Nicli and Next Door General Manager Anthony Sterne.
Saunter in, sit at the reclaimed wood bar and bring your friends to share some excellent bites from 5 p.m. to late Wednesday through Saturday; you may never even make it over for pizza.
