Vancouver Farmers Markets presents RIPE: the 1st Annual Evening of Local Food and Libations
On Thursday, October 1st the Vancouver Farmers Markets will be hosting their 1st annual fundraising event.
Held at Performance Works on Granville Island, with a goal of 350 people in attendance, the evening promises to be filled with fabulous local food from our farmers, regional beer & wine, a silent auction, and your chance to be inspired about Vancouver’s local food movement while supporting theVancouver Farmers Markets.
Your support will go to a good cause
Your support will help make our 1st annual fundraising event a huge success by allowing us to execute an event that features local food and drink and quality entertainment, ensuring all attendees rave about it and want to return in future years.
Moreover, you will also be supporting a range of other Vancouver Farmers Markets’ initiatives made possible with the net proceeds from RIPE including the Farmers Nest Egg Fund which supports vendor-farmers and nurture and expand the network of local farmers who make Vancouver Farmers Markets so successful, and the New City Market, a state-of the-art, sustainable, LEED-certified, multi-function venue to house a winter/year-round farmers market and resource facility.
