RUSTICO FARM & CELLARS HOSTS FUNDRAISER FOR VICTIMS OF TESTALINDEN CREEK MUDSLIDE
Old-Fashioned, Country-Style Potluck Happens Sunday, June 27

Rustico Farm & Cellars Winery is hosting a fundraiser this Sunday, June 27 to assist neighbors who lost homes, orchards, vineyards and machinery to the disastrous Testalinden Creek mudslide earlier this month.

Donations will be accepted to aid mudslide victims and 50 per cent of the sales of selected wines sold at Rustico’s Tasting Saloon will be donated to the Mudslide Victims Relief Fund set up at the Oliver branch of CIBC.

The old-fashioned, country-style potluck event is being held with support from neighboring wineries including Cassini Cellars, Tinhorn Creek, Stoneboat Vineyards, Oliver Twist Estate Winery and Golden Beaver Winery

“In the old days, communities came together to help a neighbor in need and we are so thrilled to be able to carry on that tradition through this difficult time,” said Bruce Fuller, proprietor of Rustico Farm & Cellars. “Everyone is welcome to attend to help mudslide victims restore their lives to some normality in the wake of such a tragic event.”

In addition to the potluck dinner (dishes and cutlery will be provided), the event will include music from a band organized by Jim Ruhland and Ed Dukes, as well as dancing. Parking is available for 150 guests at the bottom of the vineyard.
