We are excited to announce three fall releases. The Pinotage Solo and the Pinot Gris Barrel Reserve are new to our portfolio, and the 2008 Pinot Gris is the most lively we have yet made. Be sure to take a look at the notes below.

Orders may be placed by downloading our order form and faxing it back to 250.498.2226, or you may contact us by phone at the same number.

Over the summer we have been very pleased to see many new faces and so many familiar faces- some of whom have been visiting us since we first opened. We look forward to seeing you all again soon. If you haven’t yet made it to the winery, we are open through October 18. Hope to see you during wine festival October 2 – October 10.

Best wishes for the Fall season,

The Martiniuks

BC WINE OF THE WEEK- The Vancouver Sun

101 THINGS TO TASTE BEFORE YOU DIE 2009 – Vancouver Magazine“Dry, crisp and showy this is a terrific looking gris and this year everything is in balance. Buy this one by the case.” The fruit from this exceptional vintage was fermented in stainless steel, yielding our liveliest Gris yet. Mineral and citrus aromas jump from the glass, followed by quenching lemon-lime, slate and nectarine flavours. Mouthwatering and vibrant, this Gris will refresh the palate and pair wonderfully with shellfish and rich cream sauces. View Notes

2008 Pinot Gris Barrel Reserve $21.90

After fermentation in stainless steel, this Gris was aged sur lie for 9 months in neutral oak and naturally underwent partial malolactic fermentation. Fresh acidity punctuates a rounded, structured palate with well-integrated tropical fruit and pear flavours that sparkle on a long, creamy finish. Elegant and composed, this reserve will age well through 2011. View Notes

2007 Pinotage Solo $32.90

Five barrels, selected for their outstanding structure and complexity, were reserved from our 2007 Pinotage lots. Eucalyptus, coffee and plum aromas greet the nose, leading to an intensely rich, mouth filling palate dominated by sweet, ripe fruit and chocolate notes. Intriguing tannins provide structure and cellarability. Robust and elegant, this wine is the result of an outstanding vintage and may not be made again for some time. Age 6 months – 1 year before drinking. View Notes
