I have a friend, a food writer and editor, who comes to Vancouver, struts to Granville Island at what seems to me as the crack of dawn to wait, and not so patiently, for the white chocolate blueberry bread from Terra Breads.  I myself covet the veggie sandwich and the Foccacia and, truth be told, any of the bakery’s breads, especially those involving olives.  Terra Breads was one of Vancouver’s first massively magic bakeries that revealed themselves to me, changing my impression on bread thereafter.  I am at one of their locations at least once a week and highly recommend that you stop in to any of their locations for their delightful baked goods.

For the Khatsahlano Music & Arts Festival they’ll be serving up Foccacia, Lemonade and Cookies; wander in and grab a loaf or two for home.
