Vancouver’s hottest vegetarian dining destination will showcase its Columbia Watershed Wine Program during Wine Fest
The Parker is excited to showcase the very best that the Pacific Northwest has to offer during the Vancouver International Wine Festival with paired flights from the Columbia Watershed selected by owner and barman Steve Da Cruz. Steve’s program utilizes some of our region’s most respected producers as well as highlights from many of the AVAs within Washington & Oregon. Wine lovers can look forward to sampling some of the best Pinots, the biggest Cabs, and even adventurous Malbecs!
Available in flights of white ($14) or red ($15), Da Cruz has some carefully selected reserves and a few hidden gems he’s looking forward to sharing. To accompany, Chef Jason Leizert will deliver his ever-changing and seasonally inspired menu. Giving voice to some of the underrated and surprising ingredients from our local farms, Jason’s dishes sing with pairings of likewise care; after all, what grows together, goes together! Owners Jason and Steve are quickly growing a dedicated following of savvy diners eager for a unique vegetarian (and gluten-free) experience, easily done as the menu changes almost daily. With a focus on local producers and making sustainability sexy, the Parker is winning rave reviews for its refreshing approach to clean conscious dining.
About The Parker
Owned and operated by restaurant veterans Jason Leizert, Steve Da Cruz and Martin Warren, The Parker is a beautiful boutique addition to the growing vegetarian restaurant scene in Vancouver. Chef Leizert utilizes traditional French methods – skills he honed at Michelin starred La Trompette in London – to lift fresh vegetables to new heights. The restaurant’s ever-changing menu is crafted using some of the city’s freshest local fruits and vegetables, many pulled from SOLEfood farms.
