This winter, we will all be looking for a bargain when traveling. But no one wants to compromise on how we travel. Well now there is a limo ride waiting at YVR for those coming to Vancouver’s North Shore to stay in one of the many North Shore hotels.

Travelers arriving in Vancouver’s Airport are often faced with many accommodation choices. North Vancouver hoteliers decided to find a way to make accommodation decisions easier. To encourage visitors to stay on the North Shore, Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism will pay limo fare for guests that use Aerocar Service from the airport to any of Vancouver’s North Shore hotels. The limos are really convenient too. Aerocar Service is waiting to transport guests to the North Shore from just outside the domestic and international arrival areas at YVR.

Guests staying at a North Vancouver hotel this winter will be reimbursed (up to $50) for their limo ride to the hotel. To qualify for the limousine credit, visitors must stay for a minimum of two-nights in a North Vancouver hotel during the 2009/10 winter months (excluding the month of February 2010). After the guests have enjoyed their stay, Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism will have a credit placed on the hotel room account, reimbursing the guest for $50 of their one-way Aerocarservice limousine fare to the hotel. Guests will simply be asked to hand in their Aerocarservice receipt when checking in to their hotel. Aerocarservice is the official limo service at YVR.

Accommodation on the North Shore of Vancouver is varied and perfectly suited to any type of visitor. Hotels and motel-style properties are conveniently situated on major access routes, and will satisfy any traveler’s needs or budget. Because Vancouver’s North Shore is just across the bridge from downtown, visitors wanting to get back to the energy of the “city” can easily make a short jaunt to the city’s centre.
