We are pleased to announce the return of the 12th annual UBC FarmAde on Friday Sept. 12!
FarmAde brings together UBC community members of all ages to celebrate community, local food and local Vancouver talent. The event also brings together organizations and movements that support sustainability, local food, and raise awareness about food security issues.
Admission is free!
Events include:
- Family-friendly local bands; featuring:
- Washboard Union
- Twin Bandit
- Shout White Dragon, and more!
- Vegan, vegetarian and low-impact beef burgers
- Farm-fresh corn and organic UBC Farm veggies
- A beverage garden featuring a local brewery
- A children’s area with face painting, bubble wands and more!
- Free tours of the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems at UBC Farm
- Lots of bike parking

We look forward to seeing you at this amazing celebration of food, music and community at the UBC Farm! Entry into the event is free; tickets for food and refreshments will be sold on-site (cash-only). Valid government-issued photo ID is required for alcohol purchases. A secure bike valet will be available, and guests are encouraged to utilize public transit or cycling, as parking at the Farm site is limited.
