Les Dames d’Escoffier BC Chapter’s Scholarship Program the Beneficiary of Rosé and Bubbles Wine Tasting
Toby’s Liquor Store Hosts Rosé and Bubbles Wine Tasting Supporting Women in Hospitality
On Tuesday, February 13 Toby’s Liquor Store on Commercial Drive will present an evening of Rosé and Bubbles with partial proceeds benefiting Les Dames d’Escoffier British Columbia’s scholarship program for women in hospitality.
Celebrate romance, or the lack thereof, with an evening with friends or your favourite lover, lovers, or loved ones. Meander up the store’s stairs to sample an array of bubbles and rosés, including Champagne, Prosecco, Sangria, Cava, BC Bubbles and Craft Cider.
To sweeten the deal, you’ll find dessert platters with selections from Goldilocks Bakery, Snowcap and Dessert Holdings, and cheese and charcuterie with all the trimmings.
This decadence will occur in Toby’s lounge, the quaint room above Toby’s Liquor Store on Commercial Drive. Come dressed to impress, or sport a more casual look, it’s Vancouver, and we’re flexible here!

About Toby’s Liquor Store
Family-owned and operated, Toby’s began as the Silvertone Tavern on Commercial Drive in 2001, a social space, with live music and pub fare. In 2003 Toby’s expanded to a two-story pub and adjacent liquor store featuring the locals’ favorite beer, wine, and spirits, and the “Women in Power” mural. The pub operated as a neighborhood mingling spot for 18 years and is now kept alive as an event space upstairs with the liquor store on ground level.
About Les Dames d’Escoffier
Founded in 1992, Les Dames d’Escoffier’s BC Chapter has awarded scholarships for 30 years. The chapter’s scholarships allow women to gain a competitive edge by furthering their education and gaining knowledge in the hospitality industry to survive and thrive in these challenging times.
