Chowder Chowdown offers a firsthand experience at how easy eating sustainably can be. It’s both a chance to enjoy sustainable seafood, as well as an opportunity to connect with local chefs and sellers dedicated to the health of our ocean. With a matching event occurring in Toronto on Thursday, October 26, it’s a coast-to-coast celebration in the name of ocean conservation.

“We are excited to bring back what is certainly my favourite event, the Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown. With all the challenges facing our ocean today, it is important to take time to celebrate some of the great successes in sustainable seafood as well. Since its start over a decade ago – Chowder Chowdown has grown into one of Ocean Wise’s most popular events. Come enjoy great food and craft beer, all while supporting a great cause!” – Mike McDermid, Ocean Wise Fisheries and Seafood Director.

Each ticket to this event includes access to all twelve chowder stations as well as complementary craft beverages. All proceeds from Chowder Chowdown directly support Ocean Wise and their work ensuring a healthy ocean for generations to come.
