The Meatball Challenge features 14 restaurants in Vancouver, Burnaby, Langley and Pitt Meadows, and runs from April 1 -26, 2015. AND we are judging! That’s a lot of meatballs to consume!

Description: The meatballs are made by gently sauteing some garlic and onion before adding it to a meat blend. The mixture is then seasoned with fresh herbs and cheese. They are then baked until they caramelize and immediately added to a lightly seasoned pomodoro to simmer until done.

The People’s Choice winners will be selected by the public who are invited to visit any of the participating restaurants and order the Meatball creations and then decide on which ones they think are worthy of winning the challenge by casting their votes.

Voting: The public is invited to order these Meatball creations at the participating restaurants keeping in mind this criteria – originality, creativity, uniqueness, traditional, non-traditional, price, value and most importantly taste. People can vote the same day after trying the Meatball creation and they can vote once a day throughout the promotion. People will be encouraged to Vote for their favourites from April 1-26, 2015.
