Rosie’s BBQ & Smokehouse and Baja’s Food popping up at East Van Brewing on July 1st
These two together? A not to miss feast! Rosie’s BBQ & Smokehouse will be popping up at East Van Brewing from 2pm to 8pm on July 1st to serve up their already-famous slow-cooked meats and authentic southern sides. To make the day extra-special, Rosie’s has created a Canadian-themed pulled pork sandwich with Quebec maple syrup served on a custom-baked sweet Mexican Concha bun.
They’ll also be joined by their friends at Baja’s Foods who will be serving up a delicious Mexican menu from the food truck’s second window.
Rosie’s will be offering both pre-order meals and platters for the park, beach, or backyard along with a walk-up menu of Red & White smash burgers, tri-tip sandwiches and BBQ that can be paired with a refreshing East Van Brewing beer and enjoyed on their street side patio.
The meals and platters are built around the tenderest brisket in town, Vancouver’s best ribs, juicy pulled pork with Mary Davis BBQ sauce, and smoked sausages two ways. Down-home sides like Mac & Cheese Salad, West Coast Slaw, Pit Beans, and Cherry Kool-Aid Pickles are the perfect accompaniments, and, if there’s room after all that BBQ, sweet treats like scratch made hand fruit pies, moon pies, and banana pudding with vanilla cookies will satisfy any dessert cravings.
Canada Day pre-orders will be available online at rosiesbbqsmokehouse.ca from Monday June 28th to Wednesday, June 30th and walk-ups will be welcomed all day at 1765 Venables Street.
