Mixing Up a Blood Orange G&T
It’s that time of week again, so kick back and relax and mix up yourself something that Karen’s been drinking!
From our pal Karen: “It’s the Thanksgiving long weekend here in Canada. I found bags of Blood Oranges @costco_canada and they’re perfect for making a colourful and delicious welcoming cocktail for our family dinner guests. Wishing you all the best. Cheers! #whatskarendrinking
Blood Orange G & T
Makes one serving.
Note: I fine strain the blood orange juice for more clarity and you can prepare this drink in a large batch ahead of time (just don’t add the tonic) if you want. When ready to serve top with Tonic.
1.5 oz. Gin
.5 oz. St. Germaine
2 oz. fresh blood orange juice
.5 oz. blood orange syrup
Top with Tonic – If you don’t have blood orange syrup you can use simple syrup.
