Whisky Brunch Fundraiser

With The Gold Medal Junior Culinary Team of Canada

A VERY special event! Hosted by Marcus VonAlbrecht, Director of BC Chefs Association, guests will enjoy food & whisky pairings prepared by the Junior Culinary Team of Canada (ccfcc.ca) Trust us, this food will be spectacular. These are Canadian world-class competition winners, winning 5 gold medals around the globe. Five stations of award winning food will be paired with single casks of malt whisky imported by Marcus VonAlbrecht.  Whiskies being poured: Mortlach 20yo sherry cask, Royal Lochnagar 9yo, Laphroaig 10yo cask strength, Craigellachie 8yo sherry cask, Bunnahabhain 19yo.  Some of these whiskies are limited to 400 bottles worldwide and thus this is your opportunity to drink world-class whisky paired with world-class food. Please note that this event is a fundraiser for the team to help pay for expenses to send them to Erfurt Germany for the Culinary Olympics in 2013.

• Prawn Fondue, Spicy Thai Broth, Murin Glaze, Black Sesame
• House Made Puff Pastry, Tomato Basil, Goats Cheese, Balsamico, Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• Petit Pizzette, Proscuitto, Arrugula, Tapenade
• Lamb “Loli” Fig Glaze, Herb Brioche Crumb
• Chocolate Ganache Bar, Salted Caramel Bar, Fresh Berry Garnish
• Cheese Cake Lollipop

All attendees of Hopscotch Festival Satellite Events will be given a $20 Gift Card from Uber Car Service towards their first ride with them!
