Sip some BC wine, savour chocolate and enjoy the wineries of the Westside Wine Trail next Sunday on Kelowna’s Westside Wine Trail. GLV
Sunday, February 9th marks the 3rd annual “Sip with Your Sweetheart” event and the wineries are looking forward to welcoming several hundred smiling sweethearts and happy wine sippers into their tasting rooms.
It is an afternoon of chocolate indulgence where the tasting rooms will be filled decadent wine and chocolate pairings that have been carefully crafted and harmonized by local chefs, bakers and sommeliers.
The participating wineries will be treating everyone from 11 am to 4 pm during this open house event with complimentary wine & chocolate tastings. Wine, gifts, books, art and culinary delights will be available for purchase so sippers and sweethearts can enjoy them long after their visit to the Westside Wine Trail.
As an added twist this year, Mission Hill Family Estate is teaming up with local firefighters and collecting donations for the West Kelowna Professional Fire Fighters Charitable Society. Guests who make a donation will get a ballot and a chance to win a set of concert tickets to one of Mission Hills’ summer concerts!
Visitors are encouraged to start at either end of the trail, either on Glencoe Rd or Boucherie Rd, and to pick up a copy of our map at the wineries so they don’t miss out on the fun.
