Women in Wine Expo London Brings Women from Around the World Together
On May 10-12, the Women in Wine Expo 2023 is in London and it’s your chance to meet the best and brightest minds in the industry who are mobilizing to engage in the current challenges in the industry.
Until now, professionals from twenty-six countries have engaged with WIWE through our unparalleled global network, educational workshops, and professional development opportunities. Together with all these women we shared insights and worked on the issues that are relevant for many women in wine. From East to West. And from North to South. But there is more work to do. And more stories to tell.
This time in London we will form panels with women from the UK, Europe, and the World. Men in powerful positions will give opening remarks about the importance of women in the wine industry and – as usual the case with the Women in Wine Expo – we will give our platform also to the young generation of women in wine.
Obviously, there is no better location than London (the financial capital of the world) to discuss the importance of trade. London has been the world’s key hub for wine trade for centuries, where wine merchants started importing bottles from mainland Europe in 1343. Other topics covered at the WIWE are winemaking in lesser-known wine regions and the production of high-quality sparkling wines.
London is the headquarters of global wine education organizations such as WSET and the Institute of Masters of Wine.
The conference will be held at several locations in London and in Kent. The Masterclass will be at Balfour Winery where you can tour the vineyard and enjoy the view while learning about the production of world-class sparkling wines.

During the week of the Women in Wine Expo, there will be plenty of events/festivals happening in London related to wine:
Olympia London Wine Festival (12-13 May).
London Wine Fair (15-17 May)
So, you can choose to spend your time in London or continue your visit with winery tours in other parts of the UK. With any of these options, you can combine them with the Women in Wine Expo and go home totally fulfilled with new contacts and amazing experiences in the UK.
OUR GOALS
The Women in Wine Expo is a global women’s wine network, building a community of women entrepreneurs who want to expand their knowledge and build their international businesses.
The 3-day event is created to inspire and empower women in wine, anticipating to current trends and developments, authentic wines, different countries, new names, and impressions!
The perks of the Women in Wine Expo are diversity, the discovery of new tastes and the opportunity to learn more about the wine and meet women winemakers.
In partnership with and in support of national wine organizations and wine companies, the goal is to bring like-minded women together to enjoy a day of networking, education, fun, sisterhood, and business.
