Tucked away on Pender Street is a sweet little cafe and chocolate shop that recently opened offering soups, sandwiches, excellent baked goods and of course, chocolate.
Owners Bernard and Yutta Schwartz, have designed their own gorgeous chocolates, and all stock a few other brands such as Michel Cluizel. What we loved was there vast selection of boxes, so you can custom design the gift for yourself or others.
The sandwiches and made fresh and we noshed on the salmon and avocado and chicken salad and enjoyed a veggie-filled bowl of minestrone.
Yutta is a chef by trade, and her version of stolen is delightful, as are her macarons. Bernard Noir also does authentic Belgium waffles and stock fine coffee, tea and decadent hot chocolate.
Perfect for an afternoon tea or coffee with pastries, light lunches and don’t dare leave without chocolates to go.
