East Van Wine Academy Spring & Summer

May 24th – Italy

Hot on the heels of a very successful France edition of the East Van Wine Academy, we now turn our attention to the wonderful world of Italian wine!

Commonly referred to as The Vineyard of Europe, Italy has long been renowned for its classic wine styles and regions from Tuscany to Sicily. You’ll learn basic geography and history of Italy, along with major grapes and wines from Barolos and Barbarescos to Dolcettos, Nebbiolos and more. We’ll de-mystify the meanings of DOC, DOCG, “Super-Tuscans” and so on, simplify how to decipher an Italian wine label, offer food pairing guidelines and give you some shopping tips as well!

Tickets are $35 and good for admission to this East Van Wine Academy Course, a collectable wine zine, access to After School party and two tasting vouchers.
