Fall Flavours at Fraiche

The warm, sunny days this fall have been keeping the farmers busy and providing us an abundance of locally farmed produce for our new Fall Menu that begins today.  Lois Lake in Powell River, Nicola Valley, Pemberton, and various regions in the Okanagan are the sources for some of our hearty new dishes. We have even found our very own Bee Keeper that produces a beautiful Acacia Blueberry Honey that has made its way onto our dessert menu. We think you will taste the difference that these local ingredients make to a dish.

Let us temp you with Pan seared Lois Lake Steelhead with braised Pork Belly or a Duo of Nicola Valley Venison that has been roasted and braised. Braised Lamb Shank that falls off the bone – Medallion of NY Strip Loin with Butter Poached Lobster Ravioli – crisp autumn days invite this style of eating!  How could we forget to mention the Bresola? Sourced from Pemberton, our house marinated and cured Beef Bresola is the perfect foil for a hearty bottle of Italian wine. We will keep you posted on a new Barolo arriving soon from Italy for you enjoy by the glass through the winter.

Of course, you must save room for the Dark Chocolate Brownie with Pumpkin Ice Cream or the Grapefruit Tart that is lovingly glazed in honey from our Bee Keeper, Mike.
