Flavours of Fall Wine Tasting at the St. Regis Hotel

Net event proceeds to East African Famine Relief

The St. Regis Hotel is hosting an evening of wine tasting from 5-8 PM Thursday September 29th in the historic St. Regis Room, with net proceeds from the event being donated to East African Famine relief. This evening of wine and food is being held in conjunction with St. Regis Fine Wines and Spirits and the St. Regis Bar & Grill.

The change of seasons also brings with it a change of tastes as summer menus give way to the heartier flavours of Fall and the St. Regis Fall Wine Tasting will allow guests to sample a wide range of fall and winter-friendly wine and drink  selections. The 15 suppliers on hand will include outstanding BC brands like Tinhorn Creek, Summerhill, Mission Hill, Howling Bluff Winery and Joie alongside a wide range of imported wines. In total, the event will features 60 varieties of wine for tasting along with canapés fresh from the kitchen of the St. Regis Bar & Grill.

“We’ve planned to do a wine tasting for some time, and we’re excited to welcome guests into the St. Regis for this evening of wine and food”, said St. Regis General Manager and Master Sommelier Jeremy Roncoroni. “We’ve also been raising funds for famine relief through the Hotel and this event seemed like a perfect way to continue those efforts as well.”

All wines at the tasting are available through the St. Regis Fine Wines & Spirits store conveniently located on the Concourse Level of the Granville Skytrain Station, easily accessible from Dunsmuir St. entrance.
