The top 11 chefs from regions around Canada have been selected to compete in the final Gold Medal Plates Championships. During the Gold Medal Plates project over 100+ competing chefs create their ultimate dish and pair it with a premier Canadian wine, spirit or beer.
This is step two in the final competition.

Not to be missed! High drama, high stakes! In a random order chefs learn of the 5 to 6 ingredients inside the black box. The chef has 10 minutes to decide on two recipes. Each ingredient in the box must be used in one or both of these dishes. They have the remainder of an hour to create the two dishes, preparing one plate of each dish for each of the twelve judges. Please note: Not available for purchase as a single event.
