Update from the Vineyard

Hester Creek is enjoying a glorious summer, with hot weather and perfect growing conditions for their grapes. After a wet spring, summer temperatures have been slightly above average with warm nights resulting in ideal ripening conditions. Fruit set for the grapes has been excellent and potential fruit quality looks outstanding. Currently in August, the vineyard team is working on canopy management such as leaf removal and crop reduction to ensure the grapes are in optimum condition. The winery is set for harvest to commence in mid to late-September.
