Something is fishy at Provence Marinaside in April!! We are welcoming spring by pulling out all of our fishy best for our annual Poisson d’Avril celebration! April’s fish – April fools! In France Poisson d’Avril is a national excuse to poke a little fun and play a practical joke or two. All over the country people attach fish (usually paper cut-outs) to the backs of their friends and family… unsuspecting, they wear this addition to their wardrobe until somebody shouts ‘Poisson d’Avril!’ and the jinx is up.

For the love of fun, fish and food we have taken this one-day bit of foolery and turned it into a month-long celebration of all things fishy at Provence! Chef has just returned from France with fishy French thoughts… join us to try the Poisson d’Avril Chef’s menu and while you are here don’t be surprised if you find a fishy addition to your wardrobe! Don’t be fooled… these fish are no joke… if you look on the back they will reward you! So help us celebrate all things fishy all month long!
