Fresh Ideas Start Here launches new FISHcuterie boxes, just in time for Mother’s Day
This Mother’s Day, treat seafood-loving moms to artfully, prepared FISHcuterie creations from Fresh Ideas Start Here (FISH), British Columbia’s purveyor of fresh, sustainable seafood. Available in two sizes, each platter is curated by FISH’s in-house chefs and features smoked wild sockeye lox, prawn cocktail, house-smoked salmon candy, and more.
“As a mom myself, I love enjoying good food with my family, and our FISHcuteries are a great way to celebrate that superwoman in your life,” says Jenice Yu, owner of Fresh Ideas Start Here. “It’s something different than traditional charcuterie. The boxes are made with sharing and snacking in mind, featuring all our own seafood recipes. You can bring it home, take it to the park, beach, or enjoy it outside on your own patio. My young son loves the salmon candy and can eat so many in one sitting. I hope moms will enjoy our gem of a seafood box.”
Available for pre-order now online for pick-up or delivery from now till May 9, 2021, the large FISHcuterie ($109) features 200g of smoked wild sockeye lox rolled into rosette shapes, 10 pieces of prawn cocktail, maple smoked salmon candy, pepper smoked spring salmon candy, smoked black cod candy, large salmon spread, large prawn spread, squid salad, smoked olives, pickled onion, lemons, and crackers.
The small FISHcuterie ($59) also includes 200g of smoked wild sockeye lox, 10 pieces of prawn cocktail, maple smoked spring salmon candy, pepper smoked spring salmon candy, a small salmon spread, small spot prawn spread, pickled onion, lemons, and crackers.
Customers can find an array of accompanying accoutrements to go with their FISHcuterie, including housemade crab cakes, fresh halibut steaks, and caviar.
Other great seafood gifts include FISH’s new FISHbar item, the Bara Chirashi Don, and all the fresh seafood to cook mom a special meal.
Curbside pick-up is available at both the Burnaby and Kitsilano locations. In addition, FISH currently offers free delivery for all online orders of $100.
